With Qlik Cloud Native Subscriptions and advanced report composition with Qlik Reporting Service / Qlik Application Automation, we are seeing growth in the adoption of reports based on Qlik Sense Apps. In fact, our experience with Qlik NPrinting tells us that many customers will create Qlik Sense Apps that are tailored by way of sheets and objects for reporting output. It has been identified that the interactive nature of a Qlik Table and Pivot Table would benefit from more style control when transitioning to printing on Qlik Cloud. The Product roadmap will introduce a new Table and Pivot Table in the future that offers better control of style elements and Qlik will continue to refine the transition from interactive mode to report mode with more cloud updates in the future.
In the meantime, some of our Qlik reporting SME’s collaborated to create a theme that offers reports from cloud a more professional table presentation. The attached theme can be deployed to an app that is specific for reporting in Qlik Cloud. It uses an explicit set of attribute definitions to remove interactive elements and clean-up the table for visual reporting. While this theme is not officially supported, the Qlik team will be monitoring releases for any changes to the existing Straight Table and Pivot Table and look to update the theme if needed. If you start to use this theme, please hit "Subscribe" to get notifications, we will update the theme if necessary due to changes in coming releases of Qlik Cloud. We will continue to monitor this community post and theme until a time at which “like” capability is offered with new visualizations on Qlik Cloud.

Thanks to some conversations with Qlik NPrinting users we discovered that latest version v2109 of Excel and PowerPoint include in Microsoft Office 365 is not working correctly with Qlik NPrinting Designer. The R&D team is working right now to solve at the same time we suggest avoid installing Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint v2109 on the computers you use to edit Qlik NPrinting templates. Please note that Qlik NPrinting uses Microsoft Office only to edit report templates. Instead it is not used to generate reports.

What API should I use if I want to obtain a list of all my datasources in Qlik? For example, I configured a Postgres connection and extracted 2 tables. Now I would like to get this info from the API - table names, table columns.

I have an application built in Qlik Sense which is already connected to SSMS. There are already tables pulled over from SSMS, and many reports are built using that data. I am adding a new section in the data load editor, and I am trying to pull another table from SSMS and load it into Qlik Sense. However, every time I write my load script, it gives me an error. Interestingly, when I tried loading the same data into an empty application, it worked fine. What could be the problem preventing me from pulling the data into my existing application?

I am attempting to set up an OAuth client that can be used to programmatically export and download an app from a shared space via the Qlik Cloud REST API.
I am successfully able to run the export POST request, "https://<tenant>.<region>.qlikcloud.com/api/v1/apps/<appId>/export", and receive the location header specifying a temp-contents ID. However, when I try to get the file from temp-contents endpoint via GET "https://<tenant>.<region>.qlikcloud.com/api/v1/temp-contents/<id>", I receive a response with a "404 Not Found" status with the following body:

While it is returning a 404 error, the body's message suggests the client does not have sufficient permissions. I get the same error when trying the "/temp-contents/<id>/details" endpoint.
The client has the 'Analyzer' entitlement with the 'Tenant Admin' role. It is of type 'Web', has the M2M option checked, and has the trusted consent method.
It has access to the 'admin.apps:export' and 'admin.apps:read' scopes as well as the "Can view" and "Can edit" space permissions in the shared space that the app I'm trying to export resides. I've also tried different combinations of space permissions and OAuth scopes to no avail.
My testing workflow has been to retrieve a token via "https://<tenant>.<region>.qlikcloud.com/oauth/token" with the previously mentioned scopes and use that to authenticate for the export and temp-contents requests.
Am I missing something here? Is there a way that I can debug and evaluate permissions for this, or view what's available in the temporary content service?

I'm reading a qvd file which contains data for a table that has a column whose data is in xml format
I'm reading the xml field and then parse it to get the fields in the xml tags along with their values
during reload I get an error saying
An invalid character was found in text content.
On line number: 1. On column number: 659.
but I don't have that number of columns?

the script works fine if I put the condition where RecNo < 367
but if I remove this condition the script works fine - and I have to in order to read all data
can someone help me identify what might be wrong?
I'm trying to combine 2 different qvd's into one table. Here is what I have.

I want to look at the log files to investigate what is causing our Tasks stuck in running status.
In Nprinting, Admin tab-->Task Executions-->Task-->Log--->The log doesn't give any information about what is happening in the background.
I see there are various logs in ProgramData folder such as nprinting_engine, nprinting_manager, nprinting_scheduler etc, but when i search the content of the logs based on Task ID, none of them give any result.
Life was easy with nprinting v16 logs,
Could you help me how which log contain the information about the task and what is causing the running status issue.

We have 2 QlikSense servers in our internal infrastructure and we want to expose these 2 servers externally, through Nginx.
We would like to be able to access these servers via ourdomain.com/qliksense1 and ourdomain.com/qliksense2.
Is it possible to configure Nginx to allow this?
Furthermore, we also require virtual proxies for some of our custom apps and we would like to be able to access the virtual proxy via ourdomain.com/qliksense1/virtualproxy and ourdomain.com/qliksense2/virtualproxy.
Is this possible?

I noticed a strange behavior according to I use a dimension or a level.
In my table, I use 2 levels and a dimension + several measures contained in a Qlik table. When I want to replace the dimension by a level, all records with 0 for current year are removed, whereas they have amounts for previous year. This is not happened when I use the dimension from the Qlik table.

Do you have an idea? Is it a bug?
It is really annoying because in another column I need to calculate the difference between two measures. The loop doesn't work if I use 2 levels + 1 dimension.
Update: If I use 3 levels, all rows with 0 as amount for the current year are removed. If I use 2 levels + 1 dimension, some rows with 0 as amount for the current year are removed (I don't find a logical reason why some rows and not others whereas the amounts are 0).

I'm using Qlik Sense Enterprise February 2024 with a multi nodes deployment.
I have some disconnection issues after 5 minutes of inactivity, with Firefox only, after opening a QS app passing by the NLB (F5) address.
If I try to connect directly to the address of one of my nodes, I don't have this disconnection issue.
In the AuditActivity_Proxy log, a specific message is visible each time i'm disconnected :
I found some articles about Websocket ping intervall depending on browser, but I really think that it comes more from a parameter at the load balancer level. However, I don't understand why this issue only concerns a particular browser (Firefox) in my case.
Session inactivity timeout is fixed on 30 minutes on each node :

Can you give me some ideas to explore in order to resolve this issue?
