Qlikview Entity Report

Hi,

We have few excel reports in NP-16(.nsq), few of those reports are based on Qlikview Entity report and others are normal reports created within NP-16.

I am planning to migrate this .nsq file to the Qlik Nprinting(21.14). I read that Qlikview entity reports cannot be migrated using the inbuilt migration tool present in Nprinting v21.

In this case what is the solution.

Can i still load the .nsq file into the Nprinting v21 and manually create the entity reports?

Thanks

Yes. Migration tool will allow you to migrate whatever can be migrated and rest you can do manually.

Hi @btaccent

entity reports cannot be migrated using tool because there is nothing to migrate. Thise reports dont have templates so once you connect your qvw to new nprinting just create reports and point to object you want to trigger and configure schedule tasks.
thats it.

Thanks Lech.

Since my .nsq has regular template reports (along with entity reports). Can i still upload the .nsq to migration tool and later i will manually create entity reports.

I will just add to the above that there is no more nsq files with new nprinting so you may want to go through training to understand differences and how it all works with new version.
good luck.
