First I was trying to implement this functionality using desktop but then I read somewhere on the forum that it only works on the web and not on desktop. It is some kind of known bug
Now my problem is that the transfer of selection is working from doc1 to doc2 but it does not work from doc2 to doc1
I have created button in both documents to open each other using buttons and also checked the Transfer State option. Both the documents are using same field names and same data. If I go from doc1 to doc2, the selection is transferred. If I go back from doc2 to doc1 using button and action, the selection are not transferred back. There is no other action defined
Any Idea how to fix this?
