I can't get my hidden tabrow back

I have been playing with sheet layouts which suit mobile devices.

I decided to hide the tabs on Document properties, to see what effect it would have. Now I can't get them back ! Even when I untick the option to hide them, the tick keeps coming back !

Anyone else had this ?

I'm on version 10 SR3.

Are the settings for the 'Show Sheet' ,  set as conditional or always?

I've had problems with checkmarks sometimes not saving when I hit OK.  My workaround has been to change OTHER properties along with the checkmark, then change the other properties back.  I think it's a bug where certain checkboxes just don't trigger any "something has changed" logic, so even when you hit apply or OK, nothing actually happens because QlikView thinks nothing has changed.  That's just a guess, though.

Is it possible there's a glitch in QlikView that causes this?

I have a client who's having similar issues -- trying to get tabs to show back up.  The really strange part is that the tabs show up in QV64, and through AccessPoint, but not in QV32.

Anyone else had an issue with this?

I've had this problem couple times and what worked was to try to open with higher version of clients. Try QV10 SR4 client, or QV11. If nothing works out, reconstruct your document with '-prj' forder trick using QV10. I had once when nothing worked and I had to reconstruct the document.

Yes, I believe it is a glitch or bug, and there is a helpful answer above which kind of gets over it. Temporarily change other properties too, so QV takes a look around and realises the tabrow parameter has changed. You can then reverse the temp changes. It seems to work.

Good luck !

I got the same problem. Just try ctrl + shift + s. It's the same as deactivate or activate the checkbox to show all objects and sheets.

I hope this will solve ur problem.

I ran into the same issue with one of my QVWs.  I found that toggling the WebView on and off (the last button on the design toolbar) brings the tabrow back.

Hi everybody,

First post on our Qlikview community.

I hope i understand your request and this post can be helpfull for the world.

I found this :

To hid the Tabrow, we have to drop the title from the Sheet and activate the option porperties 'Admin Override Security'.

So with these info to unhide the Tabrow, just go into one sheet porperties and add a title.

By this process, all TabRows ( with name or not) appear back on the document.

I have a client still using Qv10 SR2.  The developed application had been developed to have a hidden Tabrow. Editting this several months later it wasn't possible to get the application to accept a change in the properties for "Hide Tabrow" or "Admin Override Security".

The solution adoped was to recreate the application using the -PRJ folder.  This approach worked.
