Dear Friends
We are not able to login to access point with our AD credentials.
Please find attached the screen which comes when we try to access Access Point using URL- servername/qlikview.
I would like to inform that we have changed our Windows domain recently post which users are not able to access the access point.
If user is added in Administrator group on server manager then that particular user can login using localhost/qlikview or ipaddress/qlikview
However not on the url- servername/qlikview.
If user is not added in administrator group in server manager then login is not possible to access point.
Can you please help to resolve this issue by informing if any settings/server port etc needs to be configured.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Thanks & Regards
Chintan
It might be not your main-issue but if the call servername/qlikview failed and ip/qlikview worked it meant that your DNS server didn't know the servername and needs to be updated - related to this have a look on the group policies in your company there could be further settings which are directed to your previous domain.

Hi there,
You could also check you have updated your Directory Service Connectors in the QMC.
!
Thanks
Mark
Hi Chintan,

Hello Mark
Thanks for your reply. We have incorporated the new path in active directory as
LDAP://new domain.in
Post which we can search the user id and assign the cals. However login to access point is not allowed unless the user is added to Administrator group in Server Manager.
Thanks & Regards

Hello Andrew
Please find the attached screenshot. After providing the credentials it asks for credentials again in pop up Authetication Required.
Even after providing the credentials nothing happens.

Hello Marcus
Thanks for your reply.
Can you please elaborate on how to update the DNS Server and who would be having additional knowledge of the same?
Thanks & Regards
Chintan Gala
To update your DNS server you need to go to your network admin - it's just a mapping from an IP to a name (which people could be better remember). Further think to the possibility that other configurations like group policies might be to be updated, too then quite often applied the IT a strategy that everything is denied unless it's explicitely allowed.

Thanks Marcus , I will check with Network Admin if the IP to name mapping is done.
