Hi,
I am having From Date and To Date filters in my dashboard, if I select the date in From Date filter the data is not filtering on Tablebox data and also i have applied the field event triggers and variable event triggers. But still the dates are not filtering on Tablebox data. See the screen shots. Same for the To Date.
Kindly suggest me, if any other changes are required for the above issue to resolve.
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Ram M

Dear Ram,
Do not go for field Triggers, cause they may cause bad performance.
What you can do is get the ToDate and FromDate in variable and use those variables in your chart expression using set analysis.

I think if table is not getting filtered means something is wrong with the associations. Check if there is any name difference etc. Also try selecting in table, associations should work from all directions.
Hi Ram,
Tackling dates is very critical issue. Can't estimate what will be the problem in dates. So, Please share sample file.It will be helpful to us guide you in right way.
Are From Date and To Date field or variable selections? How do they relate to the MonthYear field you showed?
I would not use a table box for this, but rather a straight table because a table box does not allow for expressions which can contain filters.
I suggest that you post your qvw or a representative sample or that you can get more accurate help.
Hi Kaushik,
There is no charts in the dashboard only table box, because for better performance i just use a tablebox to present the data and there is no calculations fields and no expressions are required.
I have use the variables vFromDate & vToDate and set the Min value ( =Min({1} Rundate ) and max values ( =Max({1} Rundate ) for the both the variables in Calendar.
Please share me if any app. for this issue.
Thanks,
Ram
I will post the sample app for this issue.
Thanks,
Ram
Dear RAM,
You can use the chart option (Straight Table) which will also act as tablebox. The advantage with that is you can have a simple expression like Sum(1) with the set analysis and you can hide that expression.
So for end user it will look same like tablebox with required result.

Hi Kaushik,
Thanks for your reply.
there is a some performance issue, so that is what we are using the Tablebox to increasing the dashboard performance, Previously i was using the same logic which you have suggested, after a lot of analysis we can to know to use the tablebox instead Straight table.
Note:- 12 milllion record for each table

Ram
