QMC Task reload failed.

On the QlikView desktop, when I use a script to get a folder of files from a network share on another server, it reloads just fine.
(Reload works fine when using this script)

But when I reload that folder from QMC to Task, the task fails.

I'm not sure why this is happening.
If possible, please answer how to succeed in the QMC Task.

Attached is the Task Failed log file.

Version: QlikView May 2021 SR2 12.60.20200

thank you!!!

HI

Might be, for Qlikview Admin [QMC] doesn't have access for that folder path.

Thanks & Regards, Mayil Vahanan R

Hi @qwebnm,

I agree with @MayilVahanan in that this seems like a permissions issue. Suggest you logon to a computer with the QlikView service account (if possible) and attempt to reload the QVW file with QlikView Desktop to test permissions.

Hello @qwebnm ,

Also is this patch accessible within the service account user from the Distribution nodes if is not the same server?

Judging by

20230320T091220.282+0100 Error: Cannot open file: '\\10.85.149.82\qv\QA\QVDs\Webtrac_Locations_dims.qvd' (System error: Exists for \\10.85.149.82\qv\QA\QVDs failed: boost::filesystem::status: The user name or password is incorrect: "\\10.85.149.82\qv\QA\QVDs": unknown error)

it's surely a permission issue, as mentioned by the people above

Hi, I'm facing a similar issue. Do you know if the permission issue is due to the account that ran the task? (the service account)

And how can the permission issue be resolved?

Ensure that the service account running the QlikView Distribution Service has the appropriate permissions to the file path/files.

In Windows File Explorer, you can check the Effective Permissions on the folders/files for the service account.
