Moving the QlikView Server, including the QVPR and tasks

I need to move QV 12.20 into a new machine with QV 12.80 with reload tasks etc.

In the guide below (Step 2) it does not seem to be that difficult but the guide is pretty specific that "11. Shut down the old machine."

How to Upgrade or Migrate QlikView 11.20 and later... - Qlik Community - 1714203

I would like to do the migration but leave the old server running for a day or two until i'm sure that everything works on the new server and we could then point the url to new server and remove QV from the old machine.

Would this cause any issues because in some other guide there was something like this:

(Unless you have separate license keys, don't license Server2 yet, because that will attempt to create a cluster and will corrupt your QVPR)

Hello @jonip_78,

If you are applying the serial number/LEF license method, then you will not be able to run multiple instances of QlikView Server using the same license concurrently.  You will receive an "off duty" error. If you are applying a unified license, then you can run multiple instances of QlikView Server using the same license. Refer to QlikView Server Help entry Licensing QlikView for more details. You can check with your Qlik account manager if you are unsure what license type you have.
