How can I check the memory usage for each individual user in Qlik View?

Is there a way to check memory usage in Qlik View for individual users or individual applications?
We are having a memory crunch and would like to identify users or applications that are using a lot of memory and take action.

Thank you for your response.

Is the monitoring tool what is described in the following help?

The help says that "ReloadMetaData_machine-name_~.xml" is not created unless it is appended to "QVB Settings.ini", but we have not appended anything to "QVB Settings.ini" in the past. Therefore, there is no "ReloadMetaData_machine-name_~.xml" file in the corresponding folder.
In this case, would it be difficult to identify the application that is contributing to the increased memory usage in past sessions?

@shimazaki  An estimate of the RAM needed per app can be built on the below, but for accuracy always test by loading the app into memory and using the Qlik Scalability Tools to obtain a baseline of memory usage for each app as it is accessed by the foreseeable number of users.

Below documentation and whitepaper may be useful in understanding the memory management and CPU utilization

Monitor Session Activity:Use QlikView's built-in monitoring tools to track session activity, including memory usage for individual sessions. This can help identify specific user sessions or applications that are contributing to high memory usage.

@shimazaki

There might be something lost in translation here, but the section in the help you are linking to explains what you need to add. This will of course not give you data from the past. But it should start recording it. But this only for reloads, not for individual users.

You could also use something like Document Analyzer to check the app's size and projected RAM footprint, for individual apps.
