Qlik Cloud CPU allocation

Hi,

we are on Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows and during the normal use of Qlik Sense we noticed the CPU saturation (100%) for our 4-core servers.

This happens in different scenarios, for example when a user is looking at a table with many dimensions (greater than 15).

We are considering migrating to Qlik Cloud and would like to better understand how the Qlik Saas will behave in this situation. Will more virtual CPUs be temporarily allocated or will the system slow down until it finishes elaborating the specific chart?

Can we define different priorities for different tenants (for example, the shipping department needs a faster response than finance)?

Regards

Hi,

In your case, for your On-Premise server, you can go up to 100% of CPU due to tasks reload maybe with multiples joins or heavy aggregations in a couple of charts. As you have 4 cores, you need to configure the Scheduler service to 2 parallel tasks.

Nevertheless, in Qlik Cloud, it'll use a elastic scalability, so resources will be affected by peak usage. You'll have guardrail only on the RAM consumption

Kind regards
