About the role:

 

The AGILE Digital team in the Business Excellence (BE) function drives AGILE Digital process programs at the LA site.

 

The AGILE Digital team:

 

  • Support digital culture change projects (organizational change management),
  • Manage digital projects and quick wins for the site with a focus on value capture,
  • Look for digital waste in our processes and find solutions,
  • Unlock full potential of our people and advances our capabilities through reskilling the workforce and advocating for digital innovation
  • Help to evolve the digital mindset and culture of the site through continuous learning.

 

Role of the AGILE Digital Champion:

 

  • lead and promote digital projects that are important to the LA site digital strategy usually focused on manufacturing, supply chain or engineering.
  • advocate a digital mindset and guide digital advancement.
  • aid in the development and reskilling of LA employees
  • AGILE Champion is a visible, developmental role where you will experience current best practices. As such, it is expected that you will be in the role for 2-3 years before taking another role in the business.

 

You will report to the Head of AGILE Digital.

 

How you will contribute:

 

  • Within the broader AGILE framework, help the advancement of AGILE Digital for the site.
  • Support the Head of AGILE Digital in building strong engagement of all LA site colleagues through site bootcamps/workshops/coaching initiatives.
  • Participate in local AGILE program.
  • Collaborate with LA's AGILE OE, Training, Learning & Development and PMO teams to provide an aligned BE support to site
  • Develop own capabilities in Digital and Data Science to provide appropriate guidance to local employees.
  • Lead AGILE Digital projects through a strong in-site collaboration.
  • Bridge global vs local responsibilities in digital support where needed.
  • Contribute to the site's strategic planning and deployment processes, promote Digital opportunities to improve desired outcomes and creative goals.
  • Collaboratively develop and maintain a coherent AGILE Digital strategy and initiatives covering 3-5years, including specific projects within the coming 6-12 months.
  • Ensure understanding of site, OpU and GMSGQ strategies.
  • Ensure alignment with other AGILE workstreams, identify cross-workstream synergies and encourage cross-workstream participation.
  • Collaboratively identify and plan the development of key Digital capabilities and skills at the site to ensure we have the right capabilities to meet likely future needs.
  • Coach AGILE concepts and digital mindsets and behaviors across the organization

 

What you bring to Takeda:

 

  • Must be proficient in written and oral English.
  • An understanding of some of the following systems PowerBI, PowerApps, RPA, Chatbots, JDE, SAP, AWS, LIMS, SIMCA, Electronic Batch Monitoring, Discoverant, Qlik-sense, SPOT, Trackwise
  • Some prior knowledge of data engineering or data science is an advantage.
  • Typically requires a bachelors' degree in science, engineering, or other related technical field.
  • 2+ years of related experience.
  • Experience in bio/pharmaceuticals, biotechnology or life sciences industry is desired.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 10 lbs.
  • In general, your work will be a combination of sedentary work and walking around observing conditions in the facility.
  • Can work in controlled environments requiring special gowning. Will follow gowning requirements and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body
  • No make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish or artificial fingernails may be worn in the controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Will work in a cold and wet environment.
  • Must be able to work multiple shifts, including weekends.
  • Non-Exempt Roles only: Must be able to work overtime as required.
  • May work in a confined area.
  • Some Clean Room and cool/hot storage conditions.

Base Salary Range: $64,000 Range to $92,000. Employees may also be eligible for Short Term and Long-Term Incentive benefits. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program and Paid Volunteer Time Off.

 

The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
