Migrating from Qlikview 11.0

Hello all,

i have an old Qlikview server running Qlikview 11.0. 

Can i upgrade to another version of Qlikview ? 12.0 or higher ? 

if not, does Qlikview 11.0 runs on Windows server 2016 or 2019 ?

Hello @eno456,

No, QlikView Server v11.00 doesn't support Windows Server 2016/2019, so you will definitely need to upgrade as v11.00 reached end of life in 2017. Check with your Qlik account management team to verify if the QlikView Server license is still valid and can be used with the newest version of QlikView Server (12.80 SR1).

The online QlikView Server Help has information on how to perform the upgrade, so suggest you start here:  QlikView Upgrades and Updates and work through all of the subentries on this topic. Also note that a lot has changed with the product since v11.00 so be sure to read through all of the Release Notes and perform ample testing before launching in production.
