Hi Chandini,

You should not think that way. In office applications such as word, you have to use text box for flexibility. BUT Qlikview is more flexible enough to handle most of your UI design requirements without having to work inside a text box. Here in the attachment, it would have been the sheet background.

Basically in Qlikview there is no such requirement and not a best practice as well.

If you need any further clarification, pls keep posted for any other expert opinion.

thanx

hi

you can create all objects over the text box.

for this,

take a text box

then go to its properties

click on Layout tab

see Layer option inside it

here select custom option and gives its value -3.

now you can draw any object upon this text box.

You can prepare an image using any image processing tool such as windows paint and use that image as sheet background.

OR

You could use any other suitable wallpaper image as background.

OR

you can use a text box only for the area which is blank with another color.

but better if you could use a pre designed background picture so it is easy to handle sheet objects without having to position text boxes each time you do any modification.
