Two questions about hiding things....

I have an application where I want to hide things from users under certain conditions and on a sheet by sheet basis. Mainly, it has gone fine. However, there are two things I can't see how to disable. I hope it's possible, but I can't see how!

a) the 'Y=' value under the cursor shown in the bottom left allows someone to see the data. Can this be disabled?

b) I can disable the right click 'export' menu from VBScript OK, but I can't see how to disable the export options on the 'object' menu. Any ideas?

(I did work on the idea of setting the overall document allow export settings as each sheet is activated, but I can't see how to set this under program control, although I can read it)

Any ideas?

Hello. Can you upload a sample doc or image (that displays the information you want to hide)?

The menu items I would like to disable are Send to Excel, Export and copy to clipboard.

This is the number I want to hide.

Hi,

you have to work with Section Access and here in Security of document properties you can dismark Alow Export!

I wanted to do this under program control - I'll have a dig around to see if I can control the section access in the program.
