Selecting the later date from 3 date fields

Hello,

I am trying to select the later date from the 3 dates below -

1. EffectiveLossDate

2. EntryDate

3. IncepDate

I am trying to use the below code, which I wrote myself, but QlikView does not recognise it. Any ideas?

Max(date(EffectiveLossDate or EntryDate or IncepDate,'YYYY/MM/DD'),'DD-MM-YYYY') as [Applicable Calendar Date]

Many thanks.

John

Hi,

Try with this:

Date(RangeMax(EffectiveLossDate, EntryDate, IncepDate), 'DD-MM-YYYY')

Hi,

Try like this

=Date(RangeMax(Date#(Max(EffectiveLossDate),'YYYY/MM/DD')  , Date#(Max(EntryDate), 'YYYY/MM/DD'), Date#(Max(IncepDate), 'YYYY/MM/DD')), 'DD-MM-YYYY')

Hope this helps you.

Regards,

Jagan.
