Qlikview compatibility browser 11.2

Hi all,

we have an old installation of QV 11.2 on a customer infrastructure.

For a few days, we have been receiving reports of users who are unable to use a dashboard. When accessing the dashboard, they can only see a blank page in which only the tool header bar is loaded.
The problem appears to be independent of the browser used and completely random. In fact, the same users sometimes manage to use the dashboard, while other times they only get this blank page.

We thought about a compatibility problem of current browsers with version 11.2 of QV but it's a hypothesis that doesn't convince me because if the browser wasn't compatible, I would expect it to never work.

If it's sometimes worked for the same dashboard/user/browser and sometimes not it doesn't hints directly to the browser else to anything temporary changing within your environment.

This might be related to the workload within the environment - mainly the QV server and the network. A check of the workload from the server and monitoring the resources consumption isn't very difficult and a look within the task-manager might be sufficient already without diving deeper in all kinds of log-files.

The network and their configurations is much more tricky - to look on all proxies / load-balancer / group policies and so on which may not identically configured on all nodes.

Hi @nboccassini ,

it could well be a browser issue, that is only triggered by specific scenarios.
I would encourage you and the customer to upgrade to a supported version of QlikView, since the version they are on will be and less usable with time, and it's furthermore affected by security issues that were addressed only on later versions.
