Qlikview 11 Personal Edition Imports different from Qlikview 12 Personal Edition

Hi i have two laptops each running 11 and 12.

When i import a value, it imports correctly on my Qlikview 11 personal edition(oh this is running windows 7)

but when i import on qlikview 12(windows 10) it imports and messes up the order between column giving it a wrong value.

They are both using the same data file.

If this is true, then it's likely a bug that needs to be reported using proper channels. If you'd like anyone to look into it, please post your data source and the two versions of the app - ver. 11 and 12.

cheers,

Hi, i cant post my data set as its confidential but heres a snapshot of it.

In excel this is the real file. (i deleted all other rows that worked fine except for this one)excel.PNG

IN qlikview, after importing, (Nothing else is done, just import)

qlikview.PNG

It seems that, the data between fields are all mixed up. I wonder why. Other 1million rows work though, there is a total of 11 rows like this.

Thank you.

Hi,

  • Please check the sorting of the Tables your exporting in both are same .
  • Some times it may be due to some macro excel export also check that way in your both applications
