Here is an example on how to implement what if analysis in qlikview http://www.robertomarchetto.com/www/qlikview_what_if_analysis

This is the simplest case, where a user sets one of more parameters and shows how values changes using a parametrized function calculated on hystorical data.

For more complex scenarions (time series predictions, regression analysis, etc) I'm afraid I canno't help you in QlikView.

Have you tried using Forecast option (works for charts) in the Axes tab. Here is the definition from the documentation.

Forecast

By checking this box and entering an integer in the edit

box, you force the x-axis to be extended to the right of the

actual data points plotted. This is useful when using trendlines.

The forecast line will be dotted.
