How to omit a key field in the Initial Date Reduction Based on Access Section?

Hello all!

Let's consider following data cloud:

I would like to know if it is possible to omit the #KEY_1 field in the process of initial data reduction? As a result I want to have Table1 filtered based on the #PERMISSION_KEY field, but keepingTable2 untouched.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Kind regards,

Hello,

afaik Security/ Data Reduction work along the general QV selection mechanisms, i.e. as long as the 2 tables are linked, filtering the one means reducing the other.

I read about loosely coupled tables, but never tried it.
But it migt be the right keyword for you.

Best,
Thilo

Do you want to omit the field #KEY_1 completely?

If so, the tabled will not be connected anymore, since no two fields are the same ...

But perhaps I misunderstand what you want to do.

Hi,

Thank you for really quick response.

What I mean is when QV document (with selected Data Reduction Based on Access Section option) is beeing opened I want the reduction to be performed but excluding the relation between Table1 and Table2. Normally it will also reduce number of recods in Table2 based on the #KEY_1.

I hope now my issue is more clear.

Kind regards,
