Crosstable data load

Hi Community,

I am just trying to do crosstable data load with Qlikview 9 and am struggling with it.

My excel spreadsheet looks like this

                                         City

Products      Mumbai           Delhi             Bangalore         Calcutta

                   Qty   Sale      Qty   Sale       Qty  Sale          Qty   Sale          

A                 12   100          18    900        20    100             22    500

B                18     900         20   600         22    1980           33    800

I want to bring city as dimension then under it data values should be Mumbai,Delhi etc and the measures would be sum(Qty) and sum(Sale)

Using crosstable i am able to mark mumbai as qualifying field but for other cities how to do it i am not able to figure out

I am sure many of you would have done this.

Hi Raj,

As far as i understood from you sample data. Your requirement looks like do-able. Please correct me if i`m wrong

Step1 : Load your data using Table File Wizard

Step2 : Once you get the wizard say next and enable the Transformation Steps.

Step3 : Go to --> Rotate --> Transpose

Step4 : Go to Fill -- > fill the 1st column empty records with values.

Step5: Do Cross Table.
