Chart - adding a Trendline and specifying the color - is it possible to pick the color

Hello,

I am building a bar chart with two bars for each point in time representing data of two customers. I would like to add a trendline (Avg) in the same colour as the bar of the respective customer.

Is there a way to specify the color of the trendline ?

Thanks.

Kind regards

Matthias

The color of trend line is by default the color of bar in that expression. In the expression box, please tick "Average" box and see the trend line color.

Thanks & Kind Regards,

Hello Vineet,

thankks for your response. I had the same idea in the beginning. I have to admit that I change the color of the bar chart by using the "background color" to "=lightblue" - which works just fine.

However - the (average) trendline does not adopt the same setting. Sad

Any idea?

Thanks.

Kind regards

Matthias

Perhaps using a combo-chart and create the average trendline yourself with an expression. That way you can set the color of that expression and set it as a line instead of a bar.

I found the color of the trend line is set from the color palatte.

I successfully changed the color by going to the Colors tab and changing the corresponding color.

It was the 4th color in my case.

Best regards,
