Hello Everybody,

I have a dashboard with sales Amounts , Cost, Margin and so on.

In my pivot I have the sum of sales and others set analysys. all the result are in Pesos.

What I want is to create a field (Dollar - Peso). The Idea is to do clic on the Dollar Selection and Show all values in Dollars.

Is there a method or way to achieve this?

You need create the variable and assign the values based on Dollar or Pesos selected with buttons.

Please post sample qvw.

Let vCurreny = 'Pesos';

Create the 2 buttons: 1. Dollar -> Set the action - Set variable - vCurreny  --> Dollar

                                2. Pesos ->Set the action - Set variable - vCurreny  --> Pesos

Please add the varable to your calculations to get currency value.

Thank you for reply the sample is good,

but I want a little step far away . The idea is to do clic on the field Dollar and QlikView automatically chage the value in pesos to Dollars. I don´t want to put values over any variable.

You already have these fields in DB means what is the dollar value of Pesos?.

Do you have the exchange rate in a diferent table ? is the source  QAD?

If you have a field with the exchange rate, please quit the variable and use the field.
