64 bit with 32 bit odbc driver

Hi All,

Our servers are 64 bit but we are using QlikView 32 bit as we can only get 32 bit ODBC drivers for our system.

We know that in QlikView version 10, you can operate with 64 bit QlikView / 32 bit ODBC drivers.

Because we have been having a few performance issues, we are considering moving to the 64 bit version but first of all want to check with other users out there who are using this set up (64 Bit QlikView / 32 Bit ODBC Driver) to see if they have encountered any issues.

Any feedback greatly appreciated.

Regards

Paul

Hi,

No problems with QV10 and a 64bits server.

When using QV9 and a 64bits server, you can install a 32bits QV desktop application on the server and use that to make connections.

Greetings,

Mark
