Qlikview dashboard selection & filter gets saved topic

I have various dashboard published on access point. They all have filter and other selection criteria. When someone makes a filter selection to reduce data displayed and they then close the application, those changes seems to get saved. Any other user who launches that dashboard from access point seems to have those filter showing up.

Is this behaviour normal?

How do i prevent those selections getting saved so that does not carry into other users dashboard usage when they  access them.

Hi Sib,

In QlikView, when the document is saved, it is saved with the current selections, and those become the default selections for everyone who opens the document in the Access Point. So, anyone who has the ability to save the document (typically the developers or users with the developers' rights) can save their selections, whether it's desired or not.

The only way around it is to train all users that have access to saving documents, to remember to clear selections prior to saving the document.
