QV recreates apps after reload tasks

I upgrade QV server to May 2023 (12.80) last week from 12.10. After that every time when a reload task is completed, it recreated the QV apps. This is not right as it should only change the last modify time:

If a new file is created, it inheritates file permissions from the folder. I give different permissions to different users for different files under the same folder so I am having big problems.

Does anyone know why this happened and how to fix it?

Thank you!

Fei

If you have publisher and this is the correct behavior. Easy way to check is if you have a source document tab.

You set the permission in the distributions task itself and QlikView sets the permissions on the file.

Hi @NZFei ,

do you have a Publisher license (which would affect the published documents) or are you doing reloads in place with just a server license?

Reload tasks are set up in QMC with a server license.
