Doubt in distribution tasks

Hi all,

Does anybody know if QV Publisher can distribute documents while users are using them with the client PlugIn or Ajax? or it's necessary to avoid them to open documents until QV Publisher finish working?

You may schedule all distributions you want, QlikView Server handle the update phase itself without problems.

Hi ife, I'm not sure my experience wil help you because I'm running QVS Small Business Edition, which contains QV Publisher Starndard. As a consequence my distribution service is very poor.

I tried opening and using a qvw through Access point and Ajax while perfoming its reload and everything went well as I supposed.

I also think that a central part is played by Document properties setting in Server tab.

So the conclusion is Publisher should continue working ok, publishing documents, include if there are users working with the same docs.
