Alternate state

Hi Experts!

I have a chart,  in alternate state, state "A"  was applied and i see that in the Master Item-> Alternate state->A

but I wanted to know what fields does state "A"  apply to?

so that when the chart changed to inherited  , i can manually apply the filters one by one to see how the chart was changed?

The default scenario is that selections apply to all sheets, all objects and all expressions.

When you create an alternate state in Master items you can then apply this to a sheet, a chart or an expression.

The purpose of this is to be able to do side by side comparisons where selections in one state that is possible applied to a filter pane and a chart will only impact other objects in that state and you can create a new state that you can make different selections in applied to other objects for the user to make their own comparisons with different selections.

thanks for responding @Lisa_P  but i need to understand what was applied in that state as i did not know how it was created.
