Alternate States

Hi all 

For a project I am working on, I need to show data based on 3 different time filters(years)

I implemented this with Alternate States and I have run into 2 things that I would like to improve:

1) I would like to create an action that would set the year field on the current year value for the 3 year fields. Is there a way to define the alternate states in the action? 

In the Action's value-expression editor, theres an option only for the default state though I use 3 more in the sheet. 

2) I wish to make it easier for the User to select the year value for all 3 filters (each one is of a different field) at once. How can I achieve this? For example, If a user inserts 2024 in an input box , all 3 filters of different states will be filtered to 2024
