Qlik Sense Saas: Geooperation Within script fails

Hi experts,

we are currently moving a script from QS On Prem to SaaS and converting the GeoAnalytics script into GeoOperations.

In QS On Prem if a within statement returned 0 results the resulting table was 0 records but with structure, for example the concatenate operation after the GeoAnalytics statement works.

In SaaS the script fails with the error "There were no fields to load in the given source.".

The same script works with bigger polygons, so the problem is the 0 results set.

Any ideas?

Hi @michelabarsottini ,

This is actually a bug, which we are looking at currently, also affecting other operations that can return empty tables. It's tracked as QB-24469.

We are currently getting some help from the engine team to look if the issue is on their side, and/or get some recommendations on how to solve it.

I will post here again once we have a fix out or if we find a workaround.

This took a bit longer than expected due to it going back and forth between two teams, but it has now been resolved and has been out in QCS since around the beginning of the month.
