Hi ,
Please help me out to remove the pop up message when i click a link.
We can do this by Go to the Settings menu, User Preferences, Security, check "Always Override Security" for "Launch".
But this thing is not working when i open the application from access point or from IE plugin.
Is there any way to remove this check . Please provide a solution.
Regards,
Gerard
could you send print screet with this pop-up?
I have attached the pop up
You need to mark :
in the user preferences
As i mentioned in the post, i have did that check in user preferences. But when you open the applicaiton from access point (IE plugin) this is not working. Is there any fix for it??
Doesn't the user need to uncheck "Confirm Launch from Macro".
You can test the warning status with this macro (courtesy of APIGuide) ...
sub warningTest
set up = ActiveDocument.GetApplication.GetUserPreferences
if not up.MacroLaunchConfirmation then
else
msgbox("Macro warnings are on! Please go to Settings > User Preferences > Security and uncheck [] Confirm Launch from Macro to disbale this")
end if
end sub
All that said, I have noticed that sometimes it doesn't show even with this box checked.
When we work on qlikview desktop , the applicaiton is working properly without the message box popping up. But when we deploy it in access point and try to open the application from the access point the message box is poppping up.
So customer will open the applicaiton from the IE plugin and they able to see the pop up.
Any other option to avoid this when we open the application from access point
Regards,
Gerard
Apologies, I haven't used plug-in for ages and was forgetting the user has no User Preferences security option.
Have you tried installing QV PE Desktop onto user desktops and ticking the Launch option as in Pari Pari's screenshot to see if that makes a difference.
