QlikView extension writes back to Alteryx rest api

Hi, I'm new to QlikView. Recently the company has a project that is developed on analyst's desktop, and when we try to move it to server it has a lot of issues. One of them is to move all its backend *.bat call of python scripts to Alteryx. This leads to the quetions of extension for QlikView that we have to create in order to carry some of the QlikView frontend variables to the Alteryx rest api. I looked at some examples online about extension, it seems quite a trip. Is QlikView designed to handle upfront prepared static data without write back to data store or other server? Does it worth the effort of going into extension with all its native html/js code for this project at all or shall we consider using other technology to rewrite it, so it can interact with user more dynamically???
