Internal inconsistency, Type F, detected [992(null)-1]...!?

After upgrading to Qlikview November 2017 SR5, my apps are failing with the "internal inconsistency, type F, detected." error. This restarts the QVS on the server.

The only fix I could find is to downgrade it to SR4, so far from my testing.

Did anybody come across this issue?

I would immediately report to Qlik Support. Don't forget to send them the steps to reproduce the issue: does it happen when you use Ajax, or IE? Does it happen if you use QlikView Desktop? Apart from the version upgrade, are there any other significant changes in the apps or the server?
