We have a requirement from users wherein the user should be able to select one or more tables (say from a list box) and their associated columns and construct a query with or without a Where condition. With these selections, they should be able to get do calculations like count/sum etc on whatever columns they want. They want all these capabilities to be achieved in qlikview tool.(like an adhoc report).
I tried searching the thread from direct discovery or dynamic queries option,but it seems none of these fit to my requirements. I wonder if qlikview is even a right tool for doing this?
Can some one please explain,how(or if) I can achieve this solution in qlikview? Even if i have to create many qvds to achieve this is also fine.(Its an oracle db and there are 30 tables totally. The problem there are vast number of users,and we dont know what kind of report they will be requiring as it varies).
