We have a requirement to create an reporting solution over a set of 66 QVD files.
We created a QV application that allows the user to specify 3 parameters which identifies the particular QVD file to load. The user can then analyse and report against the data in the selected QVD.
The solution needs to be available to a user community of 10-20 users.
The created solution works fins in QV Desktop, the user is able to perform one or more iterations of enter parameters, load file, analyse, report.
We encountered a limitation with Qlikview Access Point that causes two problems:
1: It does not see to be possible for the user to perform more than one LOAD for a QVW on QLIKVIEW. This means that the user cannot do <enter parameters, load file, analyse, report> iteratively.
2: Multiple users cannot use the application as, since we are only allowed one LOAD in Access Point, all users will see the data loaded by the first user to perform the load.
Can anyone suggest a workaround, alternative implementation approach to address the above issue?
