SRType isn't getting activated

Hi Experts!

I have a text object for a metric in the sheet with a value of 5,960 and with the following expression.

=Num(Count({$<[Minutes Bucket]= {'Closed Within 4 hour'}, SRTYPE={'C'}>} DISTINCT [SR ID]),'#,##0')

The expected value of 5,954 shows only when I have a list object of SRTYPE  and {'C'} is selected.  Why isn't it getting the expected  result with just the expression I have?  There are a few more metrics in the said sheet that has the same case.  However, I can't add a trigger on the sheet using select in field as there are more objects which do not need this condition.

Hoping for you response.  Thank you.

you might have some field selections in your current selections that is impacting the SRTYPE excluding 'C'. And those fields might not be added to the set analysis to be selection ignored.

Could you send a screenshot of your sheet along with your current selection.

Thank you for your fast reply Sudeep!

Below are the expected results which is only achieved if I select field, SRType=C.  I don't have any other selections except for the year and month.

are you saying that when you select just Year=2016 and Month= JAN then you do not see your text box  showing value for this expression?

=Num(Count({$<[Minutes Bucket]= {'Closed Within 4 hour'}, SRTYPE={'C'}>} DISTINCT [SR ID]),'#,##0')

and when you select SRTYPE= C from the list box then it works?

do you see the text object showing any values when you clear all fields.

No.  The values are showing but they are not the correct values.  They are only corrected if I make that

SRTYPE = 'C' selection which shouldn't be that case as i already have that included in the expression.
