Nprinting Straight Table no Columns?

untitled.png

Why would CH311 show the fields in the straight table but CH300 would not?

So:

- reload the metadata for the related connection

- do a right click over the object and update it

I'm suggesting these actions because I suppose CH300 was changed from pivot to straight after last update.

Ruggero

Basically, You can only expand a table to see all of the columns - if it is the straight table in QlikView Dashboard BUT Pivot tables will only show in the Table portion of the template, but you cannot expand the table to see the columns. This could be one of the reason, sorry if it's not the same.

Thanks

Because CH300 is a pivot table and not a straight table.

You could:

- change the type of CH300 to straight

- clone the CH300 and change the type of the clone to straight. If necessary you can hide the clone because NPrinting supports hide tables if they are saved on visible sheets.

They are both straight tables.

I was having the same problem but this time with a Qlik Sense app connection to Nprinting app.

Didn't matter how many times I reloaded the metadata, once I converted a pivot table to a straight table it seemed to remember it as that.

When drag the table into my template and preview it sees it as a straight table

BUT there was no option to expand the columns.

I had recreate the table from scratch and then reload metadata.

Lesson, don't convert pivot table to straight table in qlik sense app for nprinting, recreate table instead and bring that into template
