Shared persistence VS Synchronised persistence

Hi All,

I would like to know the differences between Qliksese shared persistence and synchronised persistence.. and which one is better as even in case of sync persistence the content is shared from different rim nodes to the central node repository.. Pls explain which one should we go for and in what scenarios..

Hello Puspit,

There has been a lot of posts and discussions around this, but the main point is that you should only be using shared persistence now as Qlik is going to remove the old syncronised persistence method.

I would recommend viewing the posts and youtube video from Qlik support called 'STT - Moving to Shared Persistence' for more information.

As Peter said, going forward you do not have a choice.  Synchronized Persistence is no longer available in current version.

Hi Pushpit,

Yes going forward from Qlik June 2017 version Synchronized persistence will no longer be available, it will be only shared persistence.
