why we go for set analysis instead of using If conditions?

Can you please explain brief about this issue?

Which scenario we will go for if condition?

Please provide some samples. The community can help show which should be one or the other.

Generally, speaking you should use Set analysis when possible. It's much faster than an If() statement.

In some cases an If statement is needed.
