Qlikview and Oracle fusion in the cloud - does it work?

Hi

We are currently reviewing our Oracle setup and use Qlikview as a reporting tool for it.

Has anyone got Qlikview to work with Oracle Fusion in the cloud?

Our current setup is Qlikview connects through ODBC to extract data from the Oracle database we host on site.

If we are to move to a cloud based service for Fusion, data will be held off site, and I do not know if the "host" will allow the ODBC connection route and therefore getting the required extracts could be a major problem.

Thanks

Hello,

Access to the Oracle Connector is provided by QlikView. HCM Connect allows you to encrypt files of data so that you can transfer them between your servers and Oracle WebCenter Content Server.

HCM Connect picks up the files from your file server, places them into OracleWebCenter Content Server and invokes the HCM File-Based Loader program to decrypt and load the data within the file into Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud.

you can extract data from Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud using HCM Extracts to Oracle WebCenter Content Server, and then use HCM Connect to encrypt that data to export it to your server.
