Julián Villafuerte is a founding member of Evolution Consulting, a Mexican firm that provides Qlik consulting services throughout the Americas. Since 2010, he has helped several companies define effective strategies for data management and business analysis. As a consultant, Julian has worked in application development, project management, presales, and training for many industries, including banking, manufacturing, and insurance. Author of “Creating Stunning Dashboards with QlikView”, he holds a master's degree in Information Technology Management and teaches Big Data / Data Visualization courses at the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico City. In 2016, Julián became a Reginal Leader for the Qlik Dev Group in Mexico alongside Karl Pover and Miguel Ángel García. He enjoys good food, speaking about himself in third person and writing in this blog, QlikFreak, where he shares tips and tricks for data visualization, scripting, and BI best practices.
