"Dynamic Image" property for a Pivot Table

It is requested to enable "Dynamic Image" property for a Pivot Table similar to the one available for for bar, line, combo, scatter and grid charts under the "Colors" tab in the Object Properties.

The request is to be able to configure and image and prevent image resizing in AJAX (if using a text box behind the text table the image readjust in size).

It is also requested that the image only covers exactly the area of the border of the pivot table, as in other objects there is an extra are covered by the background image that is not desired.

Basically, our problem would be solved if there were an option like in "Design Grid" regarding the cell properties (e.g. the text size), in order to be able to define the row height in pixels manually for a pivot table. This would be the most logical and direct solution on our part.

The function of the grid chart with an automatic, even distribution of its contents to the parent control would be an alternative to the above solution (in the case of the pivot table, its contents are currently not adjusted to the parent control).

As far as we have seen, a grid chart adjusts the columns and rows more or less equally (except for the last columns or rows as marked in the following picture) to the size you give the control. In addition, the background image is extended to the size of the control. If you now define the size of the control as square, our equally square image is adapted to the control without distortion as far as possible. This means that you have a background image as large as the control and columns and rows evenly distributed over the control (and thus over the background image). BUT for us it would be necessary that the below marked deviation would be fixed for the pivot table.

It depends on what is easier to implement!

Hi Nadia. Thanks for the idea. At the moment, we are not interested in further investments in the QV client.
