URL for Qlik software Download

Dear Qlik Team,

Can all the Qlik Downloads softwares be in one environment?

some of them are avaialble @ https://github.com/qlik-download/* and for some https://objects.githubusercontent.com/github-production-release-asset-2e65be/*

Some organisation has limited access to internet and access is given as on need basis.

Hence if the download url gets changed the download of software will not work. We need identify the URL and request of download access from there.

Regards,

Krishna Nanda Majhi

Trying the download links on GitHub, which are referenced by the app on the official download site above, I do see that downloads including Qlik Sense Desktop and the NPrinting On-Demand Add-On redirect to https://objects.githubusercontent.com/* (or more specifically, https://objects.githubusercontent.com/github-production-release-asset-2e65be/* ) when downloading the .exe files.  So I can at least confirm what you are saying.  You will most likely have to whitelist those GitHub domains in order to obtain the downloads.  A possible workaround if that isn't practical for your organization would be to request the .exe files directly from Support.  They could put copies of the needed files on a temporary share for you.  I don't know if we can officially advise this, but it is a workaround idea in case you are stuck with no GitHub access.

Hello @krishnamajhi ,

I am not sure about those links that you provided in your post as the first link does not appear to have any specific downloads in it and the other link did not provide any output (400 error)

Qlik's official download site is within the Qlik Community:

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Downloads/tkb-p/Downloads

The following article details all the steps to download the Qlik Products:

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/How-to-download-Qlik-Products/ta-p/1906869

If you run into issues with accessing the download site such as a 401 unauthorized, please view the following article:

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/Qlik-Downloads-page-shows-quot-401-Unauthorized-Access-quot/...

I hope this helps!

Dear Mike,

Thanks for your response.  I was on leave and could not revert. I agree https://community.qlik.com/t5/Downloads/tkb-p/Downloads this qlik official download site. Can you please try download the Qlik Sense desktop.exe latest version and find from where its trying to download? Then you might find what I point to.  https://github.com/qlik-download/* and When you try to download Qlik Nprinting on demand latest release. the url  shows  https://github.com/qlik-download/*  and internally redirects to https://objects.githubusercontent.com/github-production-release-asset-2e65be/432471836/*

Krishna

Dear Andrew Roy,

Thanks for note. Infact I am doing the workaround solution only.  Hope they can put it on single url all the downloads.
