section access to be at single level without using windows password.

Hi ,

I have implemented the Ntname  section access for user to access document trough accesspoint.

Here we have integrated Ad directory and and section access is provided according to the Role describe in the table at  DB level.

However when we login to access point it ask for Userid and password  and we provide the windows ID and Password.

My client requirement is  he doesn't want to use the windows password and wants to pick the password from a table in sql .

He wants the authentication and authorization to happen at single .

I have read through articles in community but couldn't find something substantial.

thanks for the help

Hi

Instead of using NTNAME use the USERID in Section access part and pull the data from DB into the section access code.

Thanks ,

But currently we have two level access. When we login to accesspoint . It ask for credentials which are Active directory credentials .

Then when the user click on the dashboard it need to enter the userid and password  where the section access reduce the data .

Now we want to do auhentication and authorization at single level , hence we were using NTNAME.

Thanks
