how to reflect a new field to qvd?

Hello,

I have set up incremental load for each tables and store them to QVDs. Now the problem is if s/w people add any a new field to existing tables on org. database then how do i implement a new field on existing table during incremental load?

One method will be to load the data of the previous version of the qvd file, add the new column(s) and create a new qvd.

After this you can follow whatever procedure you were previously following for the incremental load.

When you load the previous QVD you can use the concatenate command to force the concatenation, even if you have different fields.

Then, this field will be a null for the old records.
