how can hide a dimension or an expression depending by the contained .

I mean, I've a dimension  that I need to hide if got no contain information of this field

Not sure if I understood your problem correctly (maybe an example would help), but you may want to check out the option "supress when value is null" on dimensions tab and "supress zero values" on presentation tab.

If you want to filter dimension values, you could use a calculated dimension, like

= if(Date > addmonths(today(),-1),Date)

to show only the last months Dates.

But it sounds like you want to show / hide a dimension completely.

In a straight chart (and probably in most / all charts except pivot table), you could use a conditional show of the dimension in presentation tab, go to presentation tab, select columns and set conditional (upper left corner).

If this doesn't fit your needs, you could also create two or more charts and set the visibility of your concurrent charts with a condition in layout tab.
