export more than 64K to excel2007

Has this problem been solved or released - I cant find a solution other than exporting to a .csv file - it would be nice(needed) to be able to export to excel more than 65500 rows?

I´m using excel 2007 - and I know that you can have over 1 mill rows in excel2007 - but QV9 will not export to a xlsx file via the send to excel option

If I export it (to excel 2007) it adds more sheets.

So it does 64K per sheet, then goes to the next.

Maybe it does the same with you?

As the "Send to Excel" feature is also supported for Excel 97 (reference manual: "For this functionality to work, Microsoft Excel 97 or later must be installed on the computer"), QlikView handles data in a way so that Excel 97 and 2007 can open it - meaning creating a Excel 97 compatible format; Excel 2007 therefore opens it the in compatibility mode. So for the time being, you cannot send more than the magical limit of 65535 lines per sheet.

When can we expect to be able to send to .XLSX?  We do not need compatibility mode.  Will there be an option to choose not to have it export in compatibility mode?
