exact search in a search object

hi,

we are using search object to look for a number when I type in 2097 and press enter in my field everything that starts with 2097 (example: 20973,20977,20978) will be selected but I only want the number 2097 to be selected every number just exists one time so can someone please help me?

You create on filter filed like

Left(Yourfield, 4) as FilterField

but how can I do this in a search object?

Try typing in the search box *2097

ok now I get as result all numbers that have 2097 (example: 102097, 202097) but my result should be 2097

i'm not really sure if there is a way. maybe some can make a macro for this specific problem. why not just click the string you want to select? anyways, i'll try to find a way.
