Why are my list box properties options different?

I have two Qlikview apps.  The list box property options are different in the two apps as shown below.

One app lets me change border options, the other doesn't. Why?

Select 'Advanced' under Styling Mode to get the border options

That's caused by global setting for all objects within the document properties in tab general (bottom - mid). If you there enabled the "extended" mode you will get all settings withi the objects.
