Hello QV-Community,
I've experienced a strange behavior when loading a qvw file, that was created by a colleague. Everything except of the sizes of the objects and their position was loaded correctly. Correctly here means: loaded like on his system.
When I open the qvw file all data, configurations and objects are loaded. And everything except the size of the objects and their positions seems to be set correctly. There is also a background image set. Interesting is, that its size and position is set correctly.
As I understood the content of a qvw file contains all data, configurations and objects in one file. So loading the qvw on a different system should lead to loading the same data, configurations and objects. And finally the sheet respectively dashboard should look just like on the system where it was created.
Just a note to the systems:
- The QlikView version of the creator is unknown to me, but could be from the latest down to 10.
- Here the objects look like they should (correct size and position)
- The QlikView version of somebody who changed the qvw is 11.2 SR 2
- Here the objects also look like they should (correct size and position)
- My QlikView version is 11.2 SR 2, too.
- Here the objects do not look like they should. They are all larger. Interesting is that the positions where changed in a way that the distnaces between them seem to be like in the original version. So nothing overlaps. But it's all larger!
Just to exclude something: NO - it's not the zoom ^^ (... that means as far as there is no hidden or partial zoom function)
Did anyone already experience something similar to that?
