Unable to see Google Map extension objects

Hi,

I know multiple people have posted questions and answers regarding this topic, but I haven't seen any that could solve my current problems.

1. I have downloaded 3 extension objects, GoogleMaps - Cluster, GoogleMaps - Heatmap, and GoogleMaps - Marker.

2. I installed them by dragging the qar files to the qlikview window. It says that it has been installed successfully.

3. I also made sure tha tthey are in the correct folder (C:/Users/myname/AppData/Local/QlikTech/QlikView/Extensions/Objects/)

4. Understand that extension objects can only be viewed when on web view. I switched on web view, however, all of my previous sheet objects disappeared. I also cannot right click. I wanted to right click because I would be able to see create extension object (as I have read from all the community posts).

Even though I choose to create a new sheet object from the toolbar button above, after selecting all the features and clicking 'finish', I still could not see the sheet object. As soon as I switch off the web view, my object appears.

Do you know what is going on?

A side question is, my right click option looks different from what is shown on the community. Is it because I am using a different, older version?

From where did you get the extension objects?  I would venture you may need to go back to the person that wrote them if they were not done by us, as it is quite possible they may need to do some updating if they were created for an older version and have not been maintained by the person/company that posted them.  It sounds like you have done everything correctly otherwise, so again, my best hunch would be there is an issue with the extensions that needs to be addressed, but I do not recognize these, so unless you can tell me where you got them, I am not sure where to point you back to at the moment to try to get some further help with them.   The fact they do not even show up in the objects list is what would lead me to believe there is an issue in the extension code too...

Sorry I do not have something better at the moment, but if you can provide some additional info regarding from where you found them etc., I can try to have a look to see if I can sort something out, but no promises.

Regards,
Brett
